It started with a simple question: "What are you doing today?" I had a few things planned for that day like an audition and writing, but when your director friend
Chuck Willis comes calling of course you answer. He said it would be a very easy shoot for another friend and musician Jason Dowd. We'd all worked together before on the Ginny Blackmore "Bones" music video, and that turned out beautiful. I knew this would be just the same. When I arrived to the studio, it was still a little rainy. Time was extremely limited, so I'd hoped we would be able to fit everything in. We were a very small crew compared to the epic production that was taking place in the adjacent room. But you don't need a gang of people to produce something that's really good.

The setup was simple. A girl, a guy, and a guitar. The boys picked up some really cool goodies from Gibson for the shoot. Since Jason's the singer-songwriter, it was obvious what his role in the video would be but Mr. Director Chuck had a surprise up his sleeves. "Can you fake play guitar?" he asked. Ha! Well there's a first time for everything. Peep the video for yourself and tell me how I did.
I heart this so much. Sweet and simple. After the first time i heard the sing on set, I liked it instantly. Thanks so much to Jason and Chuck for thinking of me for this project. I really, really enjoyed the experience.
